Pamela, Georgia's legislative session will start next Monday, January 13 — and we're on high alert for anti-voter extremists making any attempt to suppress our votes. We're not backing down. Fair Fight Action is mobilizing activists to counteract the expected harmful actions that will come from these extremists, and advocate for legislation that will protect our elections and our rights. With Project 2025 threatening our federal government and rights, this year's legislative session could see bills that further marginalize the voices and rights of our fellow Georgians. Voter suppression is already a major issue here in Georgia, and further attacks on our rights could prevent people from using their voice in future elections. In case you need a reminder, last year the MAGA-led legislature pushed through SB 189, which made mass voter challenges — a tactic used to disenfranchise Black and brown voters, seniors, students, rural voters, and Georgia's unhoused population — even easier.
