“Fire chief describes ‘apocalyptic’ National Guard members are actively assisting affected communities, and we’re counting on YOUR emergency donation as we prepare to support our heroic service members.* |
The news out of California is devastating. Four life-threatening fires are wreaking havoc across Los Angeles County. Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes; many have lost everything they own.
The California National Guard has been activated and are joining firefighters to fight the blaze. With little notice, they jumped into action, left their own families behind and deployed to the front lines to protect civilians.
While the news around this disaster is rapidly shifting, we know this: The USO will be there for our service members throughout emergencies like this and whatever else arises in 2025 — but to do that, we rely on generous donations from people like you.
RUSH AN EMERGENCY DONATION NOW |
Just over a week into the new year, we’ve already seen service members activated in response to multiple disasters across the country. We are so grateful for these selfless heroes in our communities who are ready to go wherever duty calls to do whatever it takes to keep us safe — and it’s up to us to make sure they have all the support they need and deserve in these difficult moments.
During emergency deployments like these, the USO provides critical support such as kits filled with essential supplies, water, snacks and warm meals, as well as a secure connection for service members to call their loved ones. All this and more is only possible with your generosity, so please, will you donate $29 — or anything at all — to support our heroes around the world no matter what crises arise in 2025?
