Alan Cumming here. You may know me from my acting in shows including like "The Good Wife" and "Schmigadoon" and, more recently, from my hosting job on "The Traitors." I'm writing to you this Pride season to share the relaunch of a resource to fight for and support LGBTQ+ rights.
MoveOn is relaunching Generation Rainbow, and it features opportunities to share resources, take action to fight for LGBTQ+ people, and amplify messaging that supports and affirms the queer community. I urge you to learn more and inform yourself through the resources, to use your voice and agency to take action, and to uplift and celebrate the beauty and brilliance of LGBTQ+ people. Not only during Pride month but every day.

The LGBTQ+ community—particularly transgender folks—is under attack from Republicans in their larger agenda to erase marginalized groups and their histories and to take away our collective bodily autonomy. The right is enacting their decadeslong strategy to erode our rights and turn back progress. We must hold elected officials and Republicans accountable for their transphobic, homophobic, and violent rhetoric and actions.
