This is a BIG moment in our campaign: With just over five months until Election Day, running ads on TV, digital, and the radio will help us reach voters who I have never represented.
And with recent polling showing that over 20% of voters are still undecided in this race, going up on TV will help us reach those critical voters early (and often).
This first ad focuses on my commitment to my career of service: My call to serve first came on 9/11, which led me to join the CIA and serve three tours in Iraq alongside our military.
I worked in the White House under two Presidents — serving whoever was my commander-in-chief. Something that's increasingly rare in these polarized times.
To me, service isn't about partisanship. All elected leaders have a responsibility to protect our country, and put that mission ahead of any other political considerations. With your support, I want to continue serving Michigan in the United States Senate.
But to be blunt, going up on TV this early is expensive, and the MAJORITY of our contributions through the election will come from people like you chipping into emails like this. So, in this big moment for our campaign, I'm asking: Will you chip in to help keep our ad on the air and keep Michigan blue this November?
