And last week, powerful tornadoes ripped through Mississippi and Alabama killing 26 people, destroying thousands of homes and leaving entire towns without water and electricity.  Hunger, conflict, and disasters are just a few of the most serious threats to children’s futures right now. But support from Leadership Circle members helps us work alongside children, families and their communities to develop long-term solutions to address children’s most urgent needs. The generosity of our Leadership Circle members helps reach more than a million children each year with lifesaving resources and care. As we work to help more children survive unimaginable hardships and build the brighter futures they deserve, we have outlined a few key priorities for the months ahead:  Responding to children in crisis Enhancing the health and protection of children Helping children access the education they need in the U.S. and around the world To ensure we can accomplish these goals, we’ve set a $250,000 Annual Fund goal.
