This is a longer email about the many veterans who've sacrificed their comfort and security for ours. And to every veteran reading these words, we thank you for your service.
From the members of Company E in World War II, to those who've served in Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere abroad, veterans devote their lives to serving all of us, and they should know that we're going to do everything in our power to serve all of them when they return home.

Beto has a long history of getting things done for veterans. As a member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Beto passed bipartisan legislation to expand health care for veterans while also decreasing wait times at the VA.
As governor, Beto will continue working across the aisle to create a Texas that finally delivers for all of those who served all of us.
That's why we just hosted a multi-city tour across Texas focused completely on meeting with, listening to, and working alongside veterans across this state.
Beto kicked off the tour last Friday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8790 in Houston. He joined veterans and community members to talk about the issues that face veterans in our state, and what we can do to address them.

In San Antonio, Beto held a rally at the oldest VFW hall in Texas, where he condemned the Texas legislature for working to strip voting rights from disabled veterans. It's clear we need a governor who cares about every voice being heard.

In San Angelo, Beto met with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike who are willing to cross the aisle and work together to ensure Texas delivers for our veterans.

In Abilene and Wichita Falls, Beto kept the focus on real solutions: ending veteran homelessness, reducing suicide rates, and improving health care.

Today, Beto's on his way to Killeen to host another Veterans Town Hall. But needless to say, our campaign's focus on delivering for veterans doesn't stop today.
Through his years of service to veterans in El Paso and Texas, and countless conversations across the state, Beto knows that Texas veterans deserve better than Abbott. Veterans are our pride, and Texas needs a governor who serves every single one of them.
Together, we're building the largest organizing program Texas has ever seen — because that's what it's going to take to defeat Abbott and elect a governor who truly cares for ALL of the people of Texas. But we can't do this without you, so we have to ask:
