Actually Donald, maybe we should make the election SOONER.

Here's a better idea: Every day that Donald Trump is President is a catastrophe. So if we're talking about moving the election date, let's move it UP!

ADD YOUR NAME Friend, This morning, Donald Trump tweeted that the 2020 election should be delayed "until people can properly, securely and safely vote."--while undermining Vote by Mail, a safe and secure way to vote during a pandemic! If vote by mail is safe and secure, his objection must be to "properly." In Trump's eyes, the only "proper" votes are votes for him. And if we postpone the election until folks are ready to vote "properly"--for a President who exacerbated a pandemic, inflamed racial tensions, and destroyed the economy while personally enriching himself--we'll never have an election again. Here's a better idea: Every day that Donald Trump is President is a catastrophe. This isn't entirely unprecedented. In 1932, at the beginning of the last Great Depression, they moved up Inauguration Day by 2 months so that FDR could start implementing his New Deal. Since November 8, 2016, when it became clear that Donald Trump would collect enough electoral votes to become President (over the objections of the majority of voters), we've been stuck, trying to wait him out until January 2021. Through his mismanagement, he's destroyed America's standing in the world, left our economy in ruins, and left more than 150,000 Americans dead. It's not even August. What's he going to do in the next 3 months, and how do we stop them?
