Most states closed their schools in March because every schoolday has the potential to be a suprespreading event. Now, with cases higher than ever, she and Trump are trying to force kids back to school to restore some sense of "normal." News flash, Betsy: There's nothing normal about 150,000 dead people. There's nothing normal about forcing educators to choose between the safety of their students and faculty, and potentially closing schools altogether for lack of funds. Any politician who forces things to get "back to normal" before we have the virus under control is going to get people killed.
