Pamela,
In the final days of this election, we're gathering every data point we can to drive our work. And our most recent poll of battleground state voters confirmed something we knew, but we weren't sure was felt widely: Climate is an issue with major upside for Kamala Harris. She leads Trump by double digits when it comes to who voters think would be better to tackle climate change (51% Harris vs 28% Trump) and expand clean energy (52% Harris vs 30% Trump).
In seven major 2024 battleground states, where we know this election is a real toss-up, the majority of people want:
✅ Clean energy that translates into lower energy costs;
✅ To take on -- and defeat -- Big Oil;
✅ Have the freedom to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and live in a healthy climate;
✅ And for every child to be safe from pollution.
The numbers are clear: Climate is a winning issue. And that's exactly what Kamala Harris is fighting for. But our polling also shows it's on us to spread the word about what she's already done for climate and what a future Harris Administration will do to keep making progress these next four years.
We just rolled out our "Too Hot Not To Vote" campaign, designed to reach key climate voters in swing states who can make all the difference at the ballot box this year.
We're counting on your support to make sure no one heads to the polls in these states unsure about where Kamala stands on the climate crisis. Your donation of $3 can make all the difference as we educate the public and mobilize voters who we know care about protecting our future for generations to come. Rush your donation now.
The reality is, despite Kamala Harris' record on climate, elections are won on the smallest of margins.
Every. Vote. Matters. And turning out every potential climate voter matters too. We know from our poll that people care about climate action and are voting for our clean energy future. And it's up to us to reach them.
What we also learned is that battleground state voters are concerned about the cost of living and inflation: Voters are initially split on who would be better on lowering costs for working families and seniors (45% Harris vs 43% Trump). That makes it even more important for us to draw the connection between Vice President Harris' tie-breaking vote on tripling clean energy production and Americans saving billions on their energy bills.
That's why we're working to educate and turn out voters in key battleground states about Kamala Harris' clean energy record and vision for the future -- while exposing that Trump will always put his own self interests and those of the Oil and Gas industry over the people.
Pamela, are you in? Make your $3 donation right now to educate the public about climate change and help mobilize climate voters to elect Kamala Harris -- the only candidate running for president who is going to tackle the climate crisis on day one.
Thanks for being part of this fight,
