We're less than 65 electoral votes away from FINALLY fixing the broken Electoral College.

Pamela, tomorrow marks two months until Election Day – but did you know that election forecasters are now predicting a serious possibility that the Electoral College could award the presidency to the candidate who LOSES the popular vote. Letting that happen for the third time in the past 25 years (no matter which candidate benefits) would deal a major blow to the public's trust in our democracy. That's why we're urgently advocating for a solution: National Popular Vote (NPV). The National Popular Vote Compact is an agreement between states to award their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the most votes in a presidential election. It might sound like some far-off dream, but believe it or not, 17 states and the District of Columbia have already signed on, meaning we're less than 65 electoral votes away from FINALLY fixing the broken Electoral College. Across the country, We The People are demanding change – polling shows that 65% of voters favor fixing the broken Electoral College. [1] That's why we're all in for this critical fight. If passed, NPV would ensure that no one could become president without winning the most support from voters – like George W. Bush did in 2000 and Donald Trump did in 2016.
