| Help make our Weekend of Action a success Indivisibles, The first Harris/Trump debate is on Tuesday, and the joy is still surging. We saw double-digit leaps in volunteer sign-ups in nearly every Neighbor2Neighbor district and state last week -- that means even more people near you are signing up, getting to work, and showing their support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. What an incredible moment to be a part of. We are driving toward a future that looks like reproductive freedom for all, a Supreme Court that actually represents the people, and an elimination of the filibuster MAGA Republicans have used to indiscriminately block progress. Joy is a clear path to victory. But we have to actively spread that joy. If the only people feeling the excitement are nerdy activists (that's us) already involved in the world of politics, we are failing at the basic premise of experiencing joy -- joy is always best when shared with others. So we need you to share your joy: - Use Neighbor2Neighbor to contact voters today so we can hit 100,000 voters by September 10. When we first launched Neighbor2Neighbor, we thought a goal of 50,000 doors over the summer would be ambitious -- here we are, summer isn't even over, and we've doubled that goal. That's a testament to your excitement, your commitment, and your work. We know we can get to 100,000 doors by September 10 with your help. Let's spread the joy.
- Check out our Doors2Debate Weekend of Action toolkit. This is your one-stop shop for context on our Weekend of Action and resources to make it successful. It has a full breakdown of all the ways you can contact voters and a guide you can use to host fun debate watch parties on September 10.
- Join us for a pre-debate celebration featuring future Speaker of the House Hakeem Jeffries on Tuesday, September 10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT. After hyping up Harris/Walz all weekend to voters, come get some encouragement of your own. Come celebrate your work with Indivisibles from all across the country and get ready to watch the debate.
If you've been with us for a while, you might have noticed that the mood has shifted. Defeating MAGA is still our number one goal, but it is no longer fear of a dark future motivating voters; it is hope for what this country could become. What a refreshing change. It's now up to us to make sure we bring that energy to our communities. Sign up for Neighbor2Neighbor today. In solidarity, Indivisible Team |
