Republicans in Congress have supported a bill that would ban abortion and IVF across the country

We want to put up billboards exposing MAGA attacks on IVF

Pamela,

By now, you've probably heard the news from Alabama, where the Republican state supreme court issued a ruling declaring that embryos created through IVF are considered children under state law. The ruling is already having a devastating impact on families as IVF clinics pause treatment, and patients are left worried and confused about their care options.

We know what's happening in Alabama is part of a broader, nationwide campaign by MAGA Republicans to strip away our reproductive rights. In fact, while most of the attention is focused on this latest court ruling, Republicans in Congress have repeatedly introduced legislation that would bar IVF services across the country.

The Life at Conception Act declares legal personhood begins at the moment of fertilization. If passed, it would ban abortion nationwide and make it functionally impossible to access IVF services. Over the years, numerous Republicans in Biden-won districts have cosponsored it, including Michelle Steel (CA-45), Don Bacon (NE-02), David Schweikert (AZ-01), Mike Garcia (CA-27), and David Valadao (CA-22).

Now, with public attention focused on the state of IVF, these Republicans are panicking. They know IVF -- like abortion and other forms of reproductive care -- has broad public support, so they're doing their best to backtrack, distance themselves from the Alabama ruling, and hide from their own voting records.

Well, we're not going to let them get away with it. If we can pay for it, we'll put up billboards in these districts, starting with AZ-01 and CA-27, calling out Schweikert and Garcia and making sure voters know their reps have backed Alabama-like attacks on IVF services.

$6,000 will allow us to start billboards in two districts, and if we raise more, we can do more to hold the other sponsors accountable too.

If you're ready to hold these Republicans accountable and build a new trifecta that will restore and protect our reproductive rights, click here to pitch in and fund our work.

These Republicans have spent their careers saying life begins at conception, and we know they'll legislate that way if Trump wins and Republicans hold on to the House. The best way to restore and protect our reproductive freedoms is to kick them out of office and build a new Democratic trifecta.
