Two very dangerous men

The attacks from Republicans have been dirty, relentless, and well funded—and it's showing in the polls.

Dear MoveOn member,

With Democrats Mandela Barnes and John Fetterman—who are locked in two of the tightest races for Senate in the country against two very dangerous men—you get the real deal.

Real people, fighting from the heart for a country where all of us can thrive. These are candidates to be proud of.

John Fetterman has dedicated his life to leveling the playing field for working people. As the former mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, Fetterman worked to build the once-booming steel town back from collapse, and as the state's current lieutenant governor, he has fought for economic justice and criminal justice reform.1

Mandela Barnes, Wisconsin's lieutenant governor, has dedicated his life to fighting from the heart for hardworking families like his own. Mandela's mom was a Milwaukee school teacher, and his dad worked the third shift at the General Motors plant. Those were solid, middle-class jobs—the kind of jobs that could support a family.2

Every day, Barnes and Fetterman fight for their communities and all of us. And, today, they need us to fight for them.

The attacks from Republicans have been dirty, relentless, and well funded—and it's showing in the polls for both races.3 The head of the Republican Party last week even mocked Fetterman's disability as he recovers from a stroke.4 It was reminiscent of Donald Trump, in his 2016 campaign, mimicking a reporter with a congenital joint condition that limited movement in his arms.

Will you help get their backs and chip in $3 now to help Mandela Barnes and John Fetterman in these critical final days? 100% of your donation will go to their campaigns.

Andra, Fetterman's opponent, Republican Mehmet Oz, said last week that abortion should be decided between "women, doctors, [and] local political leaders."5

Barnes' opponent, MAGA Republican Ron Johnson, said after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade that people seeking abortions could simply "move."6

Of course, Johnson tried to personally deliver a slate of fake electors to Mike Pence on January 6 in order to illegitimately install Trump for a second term.7

And both Oz and Johnson spread dangerous lies about COVID during the height of the pandemic.8,9

These men are dangerous, and we have to stop them from winning and handing Mitch McConnell the Senate gavel.

With eight days to go before the election, will you make a $3 donation today that will be evenly split between Barnes and Fetterman? Evenly split between defeating Oz and Johnson?

Thanks for all you do.

Want to support MoveOn's work? Donald Trump and his MAGA allies are methodically enacting a plan to place some of Trump's most ardent supporters in key election offices that oversee vote counting, have the power to certify—or decertify—election results, and declare election winners and losers. We've launched a powerful, multimillion-dollar campaign to stop Trump. But we need your help to power our effort.

Will you chip in to power our campaign to defeat Trump cronies this November and elect officials who will count each and every vote?
