Thank you. We kept New Mexico's 1st Congressional District blue in last week's special election because of the dedication of this grassroots team. Winning this seat was critical to protecting our Democratic majority in the House, but it was not a given. Thanks in large part to the help of this team, we took home over 60% of the vote. It's more important than ever that we keep up this momentum heading into 2022, so we can protect and defend our majorities and continue building back better. The DNC's nationwide campaign infrastructure will be crucial to that mission. The majorities we hold in Congress are incredibly slim, and Republicans know that they only need to flip a couple of seats to take back power.
