Not much has changed

There have been a number of constants throughout Bernie Sanders' career in public life.

There have been a number of constants throughout Bernie Sanders' career in public life.

Bernie stood up for working people in 1990:

Sanders joins workers in protest rally (1990)

He's standing up for working people in 2019:

Bernie took on powerful interests decades ago:

Vermont - Sanders urges probe of pharmaceutical firms (1990)

He's doing the same today:

Insulin is our oxygen: Bernie Sanders rides another campaign bus to Canada (2019)

Bernie has always relied on small-dollar contributions to fund his campaigns:

Small Donations Help Sanders' Bid (1990)

And he is dominating the Democratic field as the leader in small-dollar donations:

So when Bernie says you can count on him to reject the influence of big money and fight for the working people of this country as president — you know he's telling the truth.

Because it's what he's always done.

But he can't take the next step alone. He needs your help. So we have to ask:

Can Bernie count on you to make a $2.70 contribution to our campaign ahead of this month's critical FEC fundraising deadline? We need to get off to a strong start, and Bernie can't do it alone.

This is a campaign for the working people and young people of this country, powered by the working people and young people of this country. And if we continue to fight, we are going to win.

All my best,

Faiz Shakir
Campaign Manager
