Friends - In just a moment, I'll share a link where I hope you can make a $2.70 contribution to our campaign.

Why? Because as of this morning we are short of where we need to be if we are going to reach our goals at the next FEC fundraising deadline.

And the truth is, while most candidates are spending considerable time at high-dollar fundraisers between now and this deadline, the overwhelming majority of our donations come from emails like this.

So when you see us rise in the polls, when you see us start running ads on television, when you see our staff in your state, it's emails like this that make it happen.

But if we can't reach our goals before this deadline ends, we could be in some trouble. So we have to ask:
