As you read this, a bunch of wealthy donors are at Trump Hotel, bending the knee and pledging to raise up to $100,000 for a president who has treated them so very well over the past few years.

Today, 200 potential big donors to Donald Trump are going to meet with this guy:

for a big, big fundraising event that marks the start of Trump raising lots of money from the billionaire class:

The legal contribution limit for presidential elections is $2,800 a person. But campaigns like Trump's use what's called "bundlers" — basically, rich people who convince other rich people to donate, and then take credit for raising that money.

Campaigns then reward people who get others to donate the most amount of money. "Club 45" donors, who raise $45,000, get invited to a Trump donor retreat. The biggest donors get VIP event access with the president.

Corrupt? Yep.

Do we have a way to fight back against Trump's big donors? Also yep.

Bernie doesn't have bundlers. He has something better: he has all of us.

While Trump donors plot today to raise hundreds of millions of dollars, we can do a whole lot better. We can show a massive outpouring of contributions to Bernie 2020 is stronger than anything Trump's billionaire class has.
