One of the great challenges we face in the United States is whether we will become a vibrant democracy with a strong middle class, or whether we slide into an oligarchy in which the economic and political life of the country is controlled by a handful of billionaire families.
Because the truth is, today in America the economic and political system is stacked against working people. The rich get richer and use their wealth to buy elections. Working people fall behind and give up on the political process.
That is not democracy. That is oligarchy. And incremental change is not good enough. We need a political revolution.
That is what our campaign is about and what we will deliver when we are in the White House. But Bernie cannot do it alone:
We only get one chance on this Earth, and we may as well do something that people will remember decades from now. That's what we are doing on this campaign, and it would not be possible without you.
