Over 30 years ago, I came to Colorado for a job interview—and was quickly hooked. Here in Colorado, we root for each other to succeed, we treasure our outdoors, and we bring an independent, innovative spirit to how we live our lives. As your Attorney General, I've committed from day one to show up in every county, to listen to you, and to get results. That's how we make life better for all Coloradans. I'm going to continue the work to ensure every Coloradan can thrive. That's why today, I'm proud to announce that I'm running for Governor of Colorado. Will you join me in this mission by becoming one of the first founding donors to our campaign? My story, like so many Coloradans', is a uniquely American one. As the son and grandson of Holocaust survivors, I grew up with a deep appreciation for service and the opportunities this country provides. My mother and grandmother were liberated from a Nazi concentration camp by American soldiers. That history of resilience and sacrifice inspired me to dedicate my life to public service. After working for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the U.S. Supreme Court and President Barack Obama in the White House, I brought that experience home to Colorado. As Colorado's Attorney General, I've committed to showing up in every county, listening to your needs, and delivering results. Together, we've: As your Attorney General, I've committed to showing up in every county, listening to your needs, and delivering results. Together, we've: -
Protected our pocketbooks by challenging corporate fraud, returning millions to consumers, and standing up to unfair practices. -
Kept our communities safe by supporting responsible and effective law enforcement, dismantling crime rings, and tackling the opioid crisis. -
Defended our land, air, and water by holding polluters accountable and preserving our natural resources. -
Stood up for rural Colorado by protecting water rights and supporting farming and ranching families. We must protect our freedoms, make it more affordable for Coloradans to own or rent a home, keep our communities safe, protect our land, air, and water, and create opportunities for our next generation and their future. As your Governor, I'll continue to take on the challenges Coloradans are facing because we have so much important work to do to help make people's lives better. That's why I know that I will continue to learn from you, the people of Colorado. I will continue listening to Coloradans in every corner of our state, having real conversations about what you're facing, and what you need from our state government to make it work better for you. I can't wait to hear from you, and take on board what I've heard from you as we build this campaign. Pamela, if you share this vision to build a better Colorado, please chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to help us kick off this campaign strong. Together, we'll build a movement powered by grassroots supporters like you. I'm grateful for you, and for the leaders on our team below, for joining me. We have important work to do. In Colorado, we take on that work knowing that there's no challenge we cannot solve if we do it together. Let's get going.
