Kamala Harris is one of us

When I first got to Congress, I wasn’t sure I made the right decision. The Chaos Caucus couldn’t elect a Speaker to save their life.

But Kamala Harris saw my frustration, wiped my tears, and said to me, “You are exactly where God wants you to be.”

I took her words -- from the most powerful woman in the free world -- to heart.

Here’s how I view this election: Kamala Harris has lived the American dream while Donald Trump has been America’s nightmare.

She has experienced our struggles and triumphs. She is literally one of us. And she needs us to be ready to win a Democratic House Majority in the final 18 days of this election.
