Disinformation has woven its way into every corner of the socio-political landscape across the country, and the lies about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are particularly craven. DEI programs educate and unify; lies about them keep us in the dark and divided. It's time to bust the DEI lies with special guest Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin! Elizabeth is the founder and CEO of the Gaia Leadership Project recognized worldwide for her leadership, consulting, and coaching on issues including immigration, voting rights, abortion rights, and racial justice. Her lifelong mission is to change the world for the better, and to work to create a safer and more equitable society for all. In this month's call, Elizabeth will help us understand DEI historically, expose tactics used by bad actors to undermine and outlaw DEI efforts, and ground us in an awareness of DEI's profound impact. Then, we'll take action -- because understanding may be difficult, but common ground on issues like belonging and fairness is easy to find, and we can shift the narrative.
