If we want to protect our fragile majorities, we have no choice but to be on defense.

I'll be honest with you: There's a lot at risk for our team in 2022. We took back the White House and gained total control in Congress by narrow margins last year. Now, if we lose just five seats in the House and one in the Senate next year, Republicans will have a majority once again. The GOP is doing all they can to gain ground. Republicans in state legislatures are introducing legislation in states to suppress the vote -- threatening our democracy to silence opposition -- while GOP members of Congress have been touting Democrats' popular accomplishments even though every single one of them voted no. Not to mention the RNC is already breaking fundraising records ahead of the midterms. The DNC is the only party committee tasked with electing Democrats at all levels of government, in every corner of the country. We're perfectly positioned to take on this coordinated attack. But to get boots on the ground, embed voter protection experts in key states, and more, we cannot fall short of goals like the one coming up tomorrow.
