Lindsey Graham hates democracy

Graham has been working overtime to try to convince state officials to throw out votes in majority-black communities to swing the election to Trump.

Tell Sen. Lindsey Graham: Your interference in our elections is criminal. You've been caught red-handed meddling in the election and tampering with our democracy. Time to resign. While Donald Trump baselessly insists that he somehow won an election in which he received around 6 million fewer votes than Joe Biden, Graham has been working overtime to try to convince state officials to throw out votes in majority-black communities to swing the election to Trump. We need to call this what it is: Election interference with the goal of subverting the results of a fair election. Graham has no business continuing to serve in Congress. Georgia's Secretary of State, Brad Raffensberger, revealed that Graham contacted Raffensberger and implied that he should attempt to discard some ballots in order to swing the state back into Trump's column. Many legal experts think Graham may have committed a felony.1 Graham has of course denied these allegations, but a member of Raffensberger's staff has stepped forward to corroborate them. Graham then tried to make himself look better by saying he reached out to the Secretaries of State of Arizona and Nevada to hold similar conversations. However, Nevada Secretary of State Katie Hobbs then stated she had not spoken with Sen. Graham. Here's what's happening: What Trump and Graham are doing undermines faith in democracy. Just because it hasn't worked yet doesn't make it any less dangerous. In a closer election, with a less mobilized populace, Trump and Graham's interference really could steal an election from the American people. Look at what happened in Wayne County, Michigan this week―Republican election officials initially refused to certify the results form Michigan's most populous county in an attempt to swing the election to Trump. Only a massive mobilization of protests got them to reverse that attempt―though Trump is now trying to influence them to change back.   The election is over. Trump lost. The refusal of Republicans to recognize that fact, and their affirmative efforts to reverse it are dangerous to our democracy! Graham must resign now!
