ADD YOUR NAME Pamela, When the Presidential administration turns over, it is a tradition for political appointees of the previous president to resign in many positions. But that tradition doesn't exist at the Social Security administration―and for good reason. The Commissioner of the Social Security Administration should be dedicated to keeping an agency that the vast majority of the public supports running smoothly, delivering benefits that people count on. Unfortunately, the Trump administration put some real jerks in charge of Social Security. And unless Joe Biden does something about it, they're going to keep undermining Social Security from the inside. Tell Joe Biden and Kamala Harris: Fire Trump's Social Security appointees, and reverse their cruel new regulations immediately! Commissioner Andrew Saul and deputy commissioners David Black and Mark Warshawsky have taken the Louis DeJoy playbook and run it on our Social Security system. They're alienating the workers who make Social Security run, and adding massive bureaucracy between the American people and our earned benefits. But instead of slowing the mail down to steal an election, they want to make Social Security too difficult for people to count on. Social Security is unbelievably popular. So right-wing ideologues can't attack it head on. Instead, they complain that it's unaffordable (not true!) or try to make it harder to access the benefits we earn, in the hope that people lose faith in the system.
