The news we just heard is truly appalling.
Late Friday night, Donald Trump fired the State Department Inspector General saying he “lost confidence” in him.
But NBC News just reported the real reason the Inspector General was fired:
The Inspector General was investigating Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for misusing taxpayer dollars and defying Congress to benefit Saudi Arabia.
Trump will fire anyone who has the audacity to hold Trump and his administration accountable for their bottomless corruption.
And frankly, we’ve had enough.
