We have momentum in Kentucky. We can't lose it.
| Friend,
Mitch McConnell just had his best fundraising quarter in history, and now he's using that money on extremely deceptive attack ads. Recent polls show that we're just one point behind McConnell, but these ads could change that. I'm counting on your help to fight back and remove him from power.
I'm used to being underestimated. But it's quite a different feeling to be so viciously maligned on TV.
In the ad, Mitch calls me a liar and attempts to rewrite his own record. Here's the truth:
While millions demanded action to address the coronavirus crisis, Mitch fled our nation's capital and enjoyed a long weekend at home in Kentucky. Understandably, voters didn't like that. And now that the polling shows us neck and neck with Mitch, he's trying to escape his atrocious record the only way he knows how: by smearing my name.
I won't back down — not now, not ever. But kicking Mitch McConnell out of office and overcoming his $14.9 million war chest isn't something I can do alone, so I'm humbly asking for your help.
Will you donate to defeat Mitch McConnell and elect a Democratic Senate? We're counting on grassroots support to fend off Mitch's attacks and build the momentum we need to win this race. >>
Your gift will be split between my campaign and the DSCC to flip Senate seats all across America. We can do this if we all join together.
Thank you,
Amy McGrath U.S. Senate candidate, Kentucky
