I just questioned Attorney General Barr

I just got done questioning Attorney General Bill Barr in the Judiciary Committee. He was called to testify about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in our election in 2016 and his subsequent summary of that investigation.

I'll be frank: Attorney General Barr refused to answer most of my questions -- and when he did, his answers were alarming. He admitted he had never even reviewed the underlying evidence of the Mueller report, and he refused to say whether the President has ever ordered him to investigate anyone. This is unacceptable.

Bill Barr is acting more like the President's personal attorney than the Attorney General of the United States. His job is to defend the rule of law and serve the American people, not shield the President from justice. He made something very clear today: he must resign.

I'm running for president because the American people deserve truth and integrity from their elected leaders. That's not what we're getting right now. If you're with me in this fight, I need you now.
