My good friend Speaker Pelosi just reached out to you, and I wanted to make sure you saw her critical message.   Speaker Pelosi and I are calling on 5O,OOO grassroots Democrats to join us before Equal Pay Day ends at midnight and take a stand against the gender pay gap.   I find it absolutely disgusting that in 2O19, women still don’t get paid as much as their male colleagues.   I think it’s pretty straightforward: equal pay for equal work.   And yet, I’ve sat and watched for far too long as Republicans have done nothing to erase this discrepancy.   As the Chairwoman of the DCCC, I couldn’t be prouder to stand with Speaker Pelosi and my Democratic colleagues to make sure this pay gap is wiped out.   We have to do more, and I’m going to need every last grassroots Democrat with me.   Please, I need you to take a stand with me before Equal Pay Day is over in 8 hours.   I need your signature -- and quickly.
