There is a good reason the political and financial establishment of this country are gearing up to stop our campaign:

It is because we are going to win.

And the reason we are going to win is because we are telling the truth about the reality of American life today.

We are talking about a reality in which almost all of the wealth and income in this country is going to the top 1 percent.

We are talking about a dysfunctional health care system that prioritizes the profits of healthy industry CEOs and stock prices over the need to provide quality care for everyone in a cost-effective way.

We are talking about the tragedy for our nation that hundreds of thousands of bright young people who have the desire and ability to get a college education will not be able to do so because their families lack the money.

We are talking about a reality where the top 25 hedge fund managers in this country make more money than the combined salaries of every kindergarten teacher and billionaires get huge tax breaks while our children get broken chairs, flooded classrooms and inadequate support staff in their schools.

We are talking about a fossil fuel industry that continues to make huge profits while their carbon emissions destroy the planet for our children and grandchildren.

We are talking about a corrupt system of campaign finance that allows a few wealthy individuals and corporations to buy our candidates and our elections. Today, virtually no piece of legislation can get passed unless it has their approval.

The billionaire class in this country has never had it so well, and they see us as an existential threat to their profits and to their way of life. And they are right – we are.

That is why they are willing to do anything and spend unlimited amounts of money to stop our campaign.

But we have something they don't have, and that is the people.

And together, what we are proving is that you don't have to run around the country hustling millionaires and billionaires for money.

We are funding this campaign in an unprecedented fashion — by bringing millions of people together, working people, young people, all chipping in to support our campaign that promises to transform this country.

But that means I need your help, because I cannot do this alone:
