I’m asking again before tomorrow’s deadline because it’s so important: Will you rush in $1? As a young man, I made a choice: I’d risk my life in my fight for basic rights. I shed blood on the bridge in Selma, was held in jail for weeks on end, got beaten by angry mobs, and watched dear friends die. But we kept fighting, because our cause was bigger than any of us. This moment is bigger than all of us too. Our free press, our free elections, our right to protest -- this President is putting it all at risk. And I need you to make a choice. We can get complacent, do nothing, and let this administration derail our democracy. Or we can each make a sacrifice -- knock on doors, calls voters, or give a little of our paycheck -- to elect a Democratic House that’ll protect our freedom.
