You're receiving this email because you've shown interest in electing Democrats up and down the ballot. Emails are one of the best ways to keep in touch with our supporters, but if you'd like to unsubscribe, you can do so here. | Earlier this week, I delivered my last State of the State address as Governor. | POLITICO sent out a breaking news alert, calling my address "defiant." They're right. Because when federal immigration raids sweep through our communities as part of an ongoing attack on democracy nationwide, someone needs to stand up and fight back. | But my fight for Maine didn't start with ICE. For years, I've stood up to special interests, corporate greed, and anyone who tried to push Maine people around. | I've stood up for reproductive rights. Secured free community college. Provided free meals for public school students across the state. Signed Paid Family Leave into law. Expanded Medicaid on my first day as Governor, providing health care to over 100,000 people. | Those things and more go into the message I delivered on behalf of every single person in our state – one that needed to be heard loud and clear: | | "I say to the people of Maine: We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced. And to anyone outside these halls, including any federal officials, I say: if you seek to harm Maine people, you will have to go through me first." | | Maine deserves a Senator with a backbone. One who is a battle-tested fighter who won't back down when times get tough. Not someone who falls in line with Donald Trump and puts party over people. | The truth is, Democrats can't win the Senate without winning Maine. And right now, a recent poll shows me neck and neck with Susan Collins – 43% to 43%. I can't win without grassroots supporters like you standing with me. | Maine is always worth fighting for. | | © 2026 | Paid for by Off the Sidelines PAC | Off the Sidelines PAC PO Box 20095 New York, NY 10001 United States | |
