Senate: Cancel Recess and pass the plan working people desperately need

Pamela - Over the next three months, the Senate is going to be on vacation more days than they will be working. That's right, the Senate will be in session for just 35 days, compared to 40 days off. This is a major problem. More Perfect Union just ran a poll with Data for Progress that shows 73% of Americans support President Biden's plan to make much-needed investments in working people while making the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes. But time is the enemy of our popular agenda and Mitch McConnell knows it. That's why Mitch is going to try to drag it out with more and more negotiations to run out the clock and keep the American people from starting to see the positive effects from it in their daily lives. Here's what Majority Leader Chuck Schumer needs to do: Cancel the August recess. Immediately.
