Hi Pamela — As Pride Month begins, I'm asking you to help me make history as the first openly gay man and the first LGBTQ person of color in the U.S. Senate. I'm Malcolm Kenyatta, and I'm running to be the loudest voice for LGBTQ rights in Washington. Some folks think that a gay Black man can't win in Pennsylvania, so I'm asking you to join me and prove them wrong. Will you personally endorse my campaign for U.S. Senate today? Brave LGBTQ activists have organized and fought for decades so that people like my partner Dr. Matt and I can live the American dream with our whole authentic selves. And my campaign is about bringing together authentic voices — from Pennsylvania and across the country — to continue our fight for progress. If we're going to pass the Equality Act, ban conversion abuse, and break down structures that perpetuate systemic poverty in the LGBTQ community, we must elect a new generation of leaders who know these struggles first-hand. That's why I'm running. Now, I know this is going to be a tough fight, but I'm not worried. I'm used to tough fights. In 2018, I made history as the first openly LGBTQ person of color and one of the youngest members elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly. And with your support, we can do it again. We're building a true grassroots movement, and I would be honored to have you be a part of it. If you're with me, will you add your name and give our campaign your personal endorsement today? Thanks for reading and happy Pride! Malcolm Malcolm Kenyatta Pennsylvania State Representative for the 181st District Candidate for U.S. Senate |
