| Tell the Senate: "Reject Chad Wolf's nomination as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security." | Friend, Mitch McConnell found 51 votes to prevent any witnesses from testifying during Donald Trump's impeachment. Yet even with that blank check on his power, Trump never even bothered to nominate a Secretary of Homeland Security. Chad Wolf is running around as Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, lying to Congress,1 advocating for family separation,2 and snatching protesters off the streets and stuffing them into unmarked vans.3 But less than a month ago, the Government Accountability Office ruled that Trump's top two officials at the Department of Homeland Security were serving illegally by overstaying their appointments.4 Now, the Senate has the chance to reject Wolf's nomination―add your name to tell them to REJECT Chad Wolf's formal nomination to Secretary of DHS. Right now, because Wolf is serving illegally, the heinous orders he's giving will find greater opposition in the courts. Unwinding the damage that Trump and Wolf have caused will be easier without the consent of Congress. For the immigrant communities and racial justice protesters Wolf has terrorized, we MUST add our voices and demand that the Senate REJECT Chad Wolf's nomination as permanent Secretary of Homeland Security!
