Friends -- If you hadn't heard the news yet, Susan Collins voted to acquit Donald Trump in his historic impeachment trial.

Like a lot of Americans, I'm sick and tired of Susan Collins putting Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party before our country. That's why I'm running to beat her in November.

But our crucial Senate race is widely considered a "toss-up," and unlike my opponent, our campaign depends on grassroots contributions to build momentum and reach voters everywhere.

So today, I'm asking: Will you please split a $5 donation between my campaign and the DSCC to help defeat Susan Collins, flip the Senate, and end Mitch McConnell's majority? >>

It astounds me, as a legislator myself, that Susan Collins continues to pose as an independent voice when she blatantly ignored the truth to keep Trump in power. And it astounds me that she voted 12 times during the impeachment trial to block new witness testimony and firsthand evidence.

Susan Collins actively took part in the Republican cover-up. And she showed yet again that when her party's power is at stake, she'll side with Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump every time.

Mainers and Americans deserve a senator who has integrity and who fights for working families -- not a senator who just fights for Mitch McConnell.

But I can't win on my own. I need you by my side to overcome Susan Collins' multimillion-dollar campaign war chest. Please give what you can, and split a donation between our campaign and the DSCC to help defeat Susan Collins once and for all:

All my best,

Sara Gideon
U.S. Senate candidate, Maine

Sara Gideon has a proven record as Maine's House Speaker of fighting for affordable health care and creating an economy that works for everyone. She's running against Susan Collins because Mainers deserve a senator they can trust, not somebody who breaks their promises. But defeating Susan Collins won't be easy, and Mitch McConnell personally promised that her reelection campaign will be well-funded.

Sara needs your immediate help to defeat Susan Collins and flip the Senate:
