THEN -- February 8, 2020: Trump tweets that "we will not be touching your Social Security or Medicare." FINALLY -- barely two days later: Trump's new budget proposes $71 BILLION in Social Security cuts! BILLION. With a B. And that doesn't even include the additional cuts to Medicare! It's an outrage, and it CANNOT take effect.
