ADD YOUR NAME: Sign Common Cause’s nationwide thank you card for the countless poll workers and volunteers who are making our democracy work today >>
Pamela, across the country, millions of Americans are doing their part today.
Free and fair elections are essential – but as I’m sure you’re aware, they don’t happen on their own.
From local election workers keeping poll sites open, to Election Protection volunteers sticking up for voters, and everyone waiting in line to vote – we all have a job to do. And together, we’re stronger than any politician trying to take our rights away.
I’m writing because I know our democracy is as important to you as it is to me. Before the election night horse race takes over the news tonight, will you take a moment to say thank you to everyone doing their part today?
Sign the card today: Thank poll workers and Election Protection volunteers for their crucial work – and let them know that voters like you have their backs.
Common Cause has been tracking the Trump Administration’s anti-voter attacks all year long – and we’re ready for anything they throw at us.
But here’s a fact that makes me more confident than any other: the strongest defense isn’t going to come from any individual. It's going to come from the collective action of millions of Americans already working in their communities – neighbors helping neighbors as we decide our country's future together.
You built this, Pamela. Whether you've been with Common Cause for decades or just joined, you've helped make a difference by voting, taking action, or donating your time or hard-earned money.
Let's continue working together to make a difference. Add your name to thank the poll workers and volunteers who are keeping our democracy running today >>
In the coming days and weeks, as politicians attempt to sow fear and confusion, we’ll be in touch with real actions you can take wherever you are. With your help, we can defend the democracy that generations of Americans have fought for.
Thanks for all you do,
The team at Common Cause
