If you know someone who hasn’t voted yet…

Don’t hesitate to send one last voting reminder

Pamela, do you know someone who hasn’t voted yet? Do you know someone who maaaaaaybe hasn’t voted yet?

If so, don’t hesitate. Don’t worry about whether you’re pestering them. Give them the nudge they need to get off their keisters and get to the polls. Send them this link so they can find out where to vote and make a plan before polls close: iwillvote.com

Even if they don’t thank you, we will. Our democracy will too.

Once that’s done, if you’ve still got a case of the Election Day jitters, consider putting your money where your anxiety is. Invest in our fight for democracy, because our work doesn’t end when the polls close. (In fact, it’s bound to get even more urgent.)

It’s easy to imagine the worst-case scenarios and the shady tactics Republicans could engage in for the next few days and weeks. They might refuse to admit defeat. They might drag out costly recount battles. And they’re very likely to start trying to pass new gerrymanders right away — especially in lame-duck sessions when they are on the verge of losing power.

We can’t just wait and worry. We need to be ready to push back against the attacks on democracy we know are looming, even if we don’t know exactly where they’ll take place.

But the midterm elections have depleted our budgets. We’ve gone all out fighting to help elect over 300 Democracy Defenders today, and we can’t afford to be caught off-guard for what’s coming tomorrow.

Make a donation, and it will go directly to defend free and fair elections from attempts to undermine the will of the people.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for our democracy as a member of this movement.

We’ll be back in touch as we learn more about tonight’s big races!

The biggest rigged system in America is gerrymandering.
    Together we can change that
