Earlier this month, we let you know about a key deadline in Georgia's legislative session. Leading up to "Crossover Day," we were racing to stop bills that would have... Gutted our early voting system Deliberately tried to dilute Black political power in our most diverse counties Pushed Trump Regime propaganda and politicized access to voting If the bills didn't pass one chamber by March 6, they couldn't be considered by the other chamber in their current forms. With our team on the ground in the Georgia Capitol and working in close coordination with key allies, we were able to highlight the bills' harms. And we successfully kept them from moving forward. Our fight is possible because of this grassroots team and your stalwart support. Thank you for everything you do. But the Georgia Legislature is still in session through April 2, and ANY of those anti-voter provisions could get brought back in other pieces of legislation. We have to be ready to respond at a moment's notice. With activists like you in the fight, that's exactly what we'll be able to do. And we face a critical threat in Mississippi, where extreme lawmakers are hurrying to pass a bill that would make it dramatically more difficult to register to vote, particularly for Mississippians living in rural communities, young Mississippians, and Mississippians with disabilities.
