Pamela,
Before Congress breaks for the weekend, can we count on you to make a quick call to Representative Mike Haridopolos to protect our clean energy progress?
Just fill out this quick form and you'll get a call connecting you to your representative's office. Then, follow along with our guide to help you leave your message.
We know calling Congress might feel a little intimidating, but it's both our right and our duty as constituents to make sure our members of Congress know how to represent their districts. And it might surprise you to hear that they actually track every call they get from constituents. Calling can give electeds the push they need to vote for our interests as workers and families and provide the support they need to know they're making the right call.
Even though Republicans released their reconciliation budget this week -- and it amounts to a full repeal of the climate and clean energy progress we've made -- this fight is not over. We're already seeing some hints of splintering within the Republican party, and the House still needs to vote. We have a short window of time to make our voices heard -- to make as many calls as we possibly can and let our representatives know where we stand.
When you call your representative and tell them to stop the repeal of our clean energy progress, you're reminding them of a few important things:
- Clean energy investments are popular, and Americans are relying on them for our future;
- Repealing our clean energy progress would threaten hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs and increase our bills at a time when tariffs are already wreaking havoc on the economy;
- And you're paying attention. You'll remember how they voted on this bill next time you go to the ballot box and decide if you will vote for them.
Pamela, before the weekend, please take a minute to make a quick call to your representative today. Make your voice heard.
Thank you for making an important call today,
Climate Power
P.S. If you already called this week, you can call again!
P.P.S. If you want to help your friends and family know the power of calling their representative, please forward this email along. The more calls we make, the better our odds are at stopping this bill.
