Dear MoveOn member,
Republican lawmakers in key districts are considering a reconciliation tax package that would slash vital programs like Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistance—all while giving handouts to the wealthy and big corporations.1
We can't let that happen.
Right now, we're organizing targeted phone banks to reach constituents in key Republican districts—we need to make calls urging voters to tell their representatives: Don't support a package that hurts working families, seniors, and children just to benefit the ultra-rich.
This is a critical moment. These cuts would rip away essential health care and food assistance, when families are already stretched thin from the actions of the Trump administration. The more calls we make, the louder we are—and the harder it is for these members of Congress to look the other way and pretend they don't hear their constituents loud and clear.
Will you sign up to join a phone bank TOMORROW at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT and help us stop this bill?

This bill would not only renew but expand tax loopholes for the wealthiest people in our country, while taking health care and food assistance from millions who need it the most.
The Trump-Republican tax agenda would take health insurance through Medicaid away from millions of Americans and put nearly 11 million people—including more than 4 million kids—at risk of losing food assistance under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).2,3
Every call counts. Together, we can protect the programs that keep our communities strong and remind these lawmakers who they really work for. And if they don't learn it now, they'll learn it in 2026 when we use our organizing power in full force to vote them OUT. RSVP to join the phone bank tomorrow.
Thanks for all you do.
