The U.S. Postal Service has been getting worse and worse under Trump appointee Louis DeJoy.

That's why DeJoy was again hauled in front of the Senate to answer questions last week. "Delivery in Georgia has been abysmal this year," Senator Jon Ossoff said to DeJoy. DeJoy then proceeded to argue with Ossoff, even though Ossoff is right: delays under DeJoy's USPS are horrible. At one point during the hearing, DeJoy put his hands over his ears like a child, because he didn't like the facts. We need Congress to take a stand to save the USPS and stop DeJoy's disastrous 10 year plan to privatize the Post Office. Pamela, The 2025 Legislative Session in Florida is right around the corner, and each year before the session starts, your state representatives meet in your county as a Legislative Delegation. In these meetings, the Delegation is responsible for developing the county's legislative program including all local bills, community appropriation requests, and county and municipal legislative priorities; and serving as a liaison between the Florida Legislature and local governments and community organizations. County Legislative Delegation meetings are an opportunity for legislators to hear from their constituents about pressing issues, appropriations requests, and general business they want to see addressed in Tallahassee during the upcoming legislative session. Any member of the public is welcome to attend. With the stakes as high as they are, I wanted to ensure you know how to attend to hear what your elected representatives and others in your community are prioritizing.
