Pamela, Late Thursday night, Georgia lawmakers passed a Republican-backed bill attempting to legislate mass disenfranchisement and voter suppression, particularly for Black and brown voters. This latest attack on voting rights reminds us of what we're fighting against, and how hard we have to work to make sure voters can make their voices heard in this critical election year. We can't stress this enough, Pamela: we must keep up the pace on fundraising to protect the freedom to vote. Any shortfalls now could have a snowball effect down the line by November — and the last thing we'll want to do this election season is cut corners. Tomorrow is our first end-of-quarter deadline of this election year, and it's a key test of whether we can raise the resources required to power this work. Chip in right away to help protect the freedom to vote, elect voting rights champions, and stop voter suppressors in the 2024 election cycle. Together, we've reached voters with accurate and timely election information, trained new cohorts of voter protection volunteers, mitigated Republican voter suppression attempts, and more. If we want to protect the progress we've made and safeguard the future of our democracy, we need activists like you to show up for this end-of-quarter deadline. Will you make a donation of $20 or any amount to help support free and fair elections and elect pro-democracy champions up and down the ballot? We're grateful for every Fair Fight supporter who makes our work possible. Fair Fight |
