But 2023 has been filled with crisis after crisis for the world’s children: Violent conflict in Israel and Gaza, devastating natural disasters like the earthquake in Afghanistan and other immense hardships are threatening millions of children’s lives and futures right now. To reach as many of them as possible in 2024, we’ve had to set some pretty ambitious year-end goals – including raising $250,000 by midni‌ght tomo‌rrow to close the year out strong. A generous group of donors has offered to 5x match all gifts to help us get there, but at this critical moment, we urgently need you to make your first gift while every dollar goes five times as far. Every dollar will be matched five times to help children access lifesaving resources and care in 2024 and beyond. With everything children are facing right now, your support will make a world of difference in the coming year. It can go five times as far to build child-friendly spaces where children affected by conflict and disaster can learn, play and have a chance to be kids again. Five times as far toward nutritious food and clean water for children affected by the global hunger crisis. Five times as far to prevent child labor and child marriage. And so much more.
