Pamela, Republicans think we're stupid. They cling to weapons of war, claiming that it's essential to preserve "Freedom." But until 2005, there was an assault weapons ban in this country―and we were free! We need to re-instate the Assault Weapons Ban and get AR-15s off the streets. We need to put regulations on where and how gunmakers advertise, especially to children. We need to take responsibility for American gun culture! Even after a mass shooting in their home state, Maine's United States Senators have not called for the restoration of the Assault Weapons Ban.
