But the economic crisis in Lebanon has sent food prices soaring beyond her family’s reach – especially after a stroke stopped her dad from working. Hunger forced Ghinwa to stop attending school so that she can help earn money for her family to purchase essentials like food and medicine.  As you read this, there are millions more children like Ghinwa – growing up surrounded by hunger, war and other life-threatening hardships.
