We’ve got to flip the House.

Considering the newly-elected Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, House Republicans aren’t backing down from their efforts to roll back progress — they’re embracing a MAGA agenda that is dangerous and extreme. In his short time in Congress, Johnson:     - Tried to overturn the 2020 election     - Cosponsored a near-total abortion ban     - Argued in favor of gutting Social Security and Medicare     - Voted against protections for same-sex and interracial marriage Unlike Mike, we’ve been fighting in Michigan to do things differently. We repealed the 1931 law banning abortion, expanded LGBTQ+ rights, signed gun safety laws, repealed the retirement tax, and boosted the Working Families Tax Credit. And we’re not stopping there. But I’m reaching out to you today because our fight must stretch beyond Michigan and reach the entire country. MAGA extremists are busy raising millions of dollars to strengthen their majority. We need to outraise and out organize them at every turn, but that takes resources.
