Help us put up these billboards!

On Tuesday, Donald Trump is expected to surrender to authorities and be arraigned in Manhattan on felony criminal charges.

Dear MoveOn member,

On Tuesday, Donald Trump is expected to surrender to authorities and be arraigned in Manhattan on felony criminal charges.1

When he, his security detail, and the media gaggle that follows him leave Mar-a-Lago, they won't be able to miss our brand-new billboard going up on Monday that declares, "TRUMP IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW."

They won't miss it, because we've secured a prime spot between Trump's home and the Palm Beach International Airport, right off Interstate 95. And it'll be up for an entire month!

But while this is a great location, it's only one spot for one month. Meanwhile, the trial in Manhattan will almost certainly take months. And we anticipate charges in other jurisdictions—Fulton County, Georgia, and Washington, D.C.—shortly.2 All the while, Trump and his right-wing media echo chamber will spread a constant stream of lies and conspiracy theories about the charges, pointing fingers at everyone but Trump.

We need to fight back with the clear message that Trump is not above the law. That's why we want to put the billboard up in other strategic and highly visible locations, if we can raise the resources to do it.

Can you start a $5 monthly gift to MoveOn to help us put up and keep up additional "TRUMP IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW" billboards for as long as it takes to finally hold Trump accountable for his criminality?

Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

While admittedly it's tempting to troll Trump, that's not why we're putting up billboards outside of Mar-a-Lago.

Polling shows that an overwhelming 9-in-10 Americans agree that Trump is not above the law.3 And 85% believe that if he committed a crime, he should be held accountable for it.4

But that core value gets lost in the haze of Trump's social media tirades and the right-wing media echo chamber. If we can remind people that our fundamental democratic values that we all agree on are in play, people will agree with us.

And that's fundamentally what MoveOn's yearslong campaign to hold Trump accountable is all about. Trump has shown us time and time again that he'll go as far as he can get away with to corruptly enrich himself, hoard power, and turn on anyone who even suggests that any of the rules that apply to the rest of us should apply to him, too. That's the logic that led Trump to criminally cover up hush money payments. That's the logic that encouraged him to mount a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the 2020 election, leading to his incitement of white supremacist violence in the January 6 attack. And it's the same logic that is emboldening his vicious attacks on the prosecutors who threaten to bring him down to size.

Local and federal prosecutors have a distinct role to play in ending Trump's impunity.

But it's not just about lawyers and grand juries in courtrooms—the court of public opinion is also important. And that's a courtroom where we have a voice!

Let's make sure that Trump's outrageous narrative that he's being singled out for political reasons is overshadowed (literally!) by the real argument here—that Trump must be prosecuted despite being rich and powerful, despite his candidacy for president, and not because of these things.

If you're able, please chip in $5 a month to help put up and keep up strategic billboards to support Trump's criminal indictments for as long as it takes.

Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Thanks for all you do.

Want to support MoveOn's work? Since the Trump-packed Supreme Court overturned Roe, abortions are out of reach for millions of women, girls, and trans and nonbinary people, particularly those who were already marginalized. MoveOn has a plan to win back the House and codify abortion rights and access into federal law. But we need your help.

Will you make a monthly gift to power the fight for reproductive rights and access?

Yes, I'll chip in $5 a month.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
