We'll start with the bad news: We just fell a little short of our goal to raise $5.6 million by the close of our TEC deadline at midnight on Saturday.
But here's the good news: We're now extending our goal to midnight on Monday because we have the utmost faith in the grassroots movement that's behind Beto.
The official TEC filing deadline has already passed, but we can still use these critical resources in the last nine days before the election. At this point of GOTV, fundraising can tip the scales in a race — and we don't have a second to lose.
That's why we only extended our goal deadline by two days, because we can't afford to wait any longer to get the resources we need. We have to make sure Beto comes out on top, and that means raising our full goal of $5.6 million.
We know that you're with us when we say Beto will defeat the worst governor in the country and come out victorious on November 8th, but that can only happen with your continued support. We have less than 36 hours to bring in the rest of our goal so we can defeat Greg Abbott.
