Tonight at midnight is our Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) fundraising deadline. It's the biggest deadline we've faced in the entirety of the campaign. Every donation made before midnight tonight will go on our public report.
Greg Abbott's team, pundits, and the press will be watching closely to see how much we raise. If we raise a lot, it sends a powerful message about the strength of Beto's grassroots campaign. It shows we can compete and win.
But it's not just about optics. Greg Abbott has outspent us by 4x on TV and radio advertising. Because of your hard work, Beto's held on in the polls — and even closed the gap a bit. But to take the lead in these final weeks, we need to majorly increase our spending and go toe-to-toe with Abbott.
